There are seven weeks left until the end of the year, which is the deadline I’ve given myself to complete the Books on the Nightstand book bingo. Today I’ve completed my first bingo (a diagonal), with 14 of the 25 categories filled. It’s going to be a challenge to finish this in time, but then that’s the idea!
I have titles lined up for about half of the remaining categories. I haven’t yet picked a book set in Europe but that should be easy enough. I’ve had a few mental health memoirs recommended to me (though more recommendations are always welcome). I’m still pretty clueless about what manga to read, and I wouldn’t mind a recommendation of non-fiction in graphic-novel format other than Blankets (which I do want to read but it’s huge: almost 600 pages).
How are your 2016 reading goals coming along?
